Journey Of A Humble Servant

 Time Really Flies!!

Yups, as the title goes, it is nearing the end of January. A month from now, would be celebrating chinese new year! Yeah, need to go shopping for clothes and accessories....i guess!

Recently, i did travel to Ipoh for an "eating trip!!" It is about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs drive from Kuala Lumpur. would wanna share this with u guys in case you are all unaware of some of the good places to eat.

As i was travelling from KL to Ipoh, my first stop was the town called BIDOR. In this town, you will find a restaurant called Pun Chun. Address: 40, Main Road, Bidor. Here you can find good " Ngap Pei Meen" or "Duck Thigh Noodles". It is wonderful! Here's the catch, if u would patronize the place when it is a bit late and crowded, u will probably find that the noodles served would not be very good. My good buddy, Mr Kent, told me this after he patronize the place not so long ago, as he was on the way to ipoh.

As soon as we reached ipoh, we checked into a hotel. Next stop: Kedai Makanan Nam Heong.Address: No 1 Jalan Bandar Timah. Here, i just love their char kway teow, served on a banana leaf. Ask for extra spicy, wow.....you will feel really satisfied. Is this the best that i have tasted? Nope, the best "Char Kway Teow" is in a town called "Bukit Mertajam" in Penang. For myself, that is simply the best! A few doors a way, u should stop by Hoong Tho Restaurant. This place serves EE FU MEE (Wheat Noodles done in various styles). One of the styles that we tried is Sang Har Meen (Big Prawn Mee). Good ratings from me!!Also you should try their fried wantons and others as finger food! It's good. Most importantly, the people there makes me feel at home. They are friendly. One of the workers there, had gone to the extent of listing down the food that we should try.

Okay, thats all for now. It is late. Need sleep. Would be continuing later.

Closing Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for the daily bread that you have given us. thank you for the good health that you have provided my family and i. Thank you for the opportunities given to me everyday.

Lord, the son of god and son of man, i pray to you for good health not only for myself, but also my family. I also would wanna pray for good health for my employers. i love you my lord, and i am grateful for your sacrifices for us.Thank you Jesus, for sacrificing yourself on the cross for us, hence removing us or forgiving us from the original sin. Thank you almighty God, for your love and care that you have showered me daily. Thank you once again my lord, in your name lord jesus christ, AMEN!

 TGIF!!

Yups, Friday!!!! At last the weekend is here. Would be travelling to Johor Bahru today.....probably in a while...to visit a good friend as he has just become a father!! Congrats mate!!....unsure on how to spell the name yet....so would be doing that later next week.

Business has been great. Slowly spreading the news of the fuel saver product and other products as well. Managed to sell Kinotakara, a plaster to be pasted at the feet before sleeping in order to remove toxins. I wanna thank my cousin, Colin for trying the fuel saver product and may it work for u as how it works for others.

Car business is generally slow these days. Yesterday, i got a call from a childhood fren, Khay, thought of me as she wants to buy a car....that is just great. Feel bad though as i have not been contacting my childhood frens. I am always doing the disappearing act. Anyways, it is not that i am not interested to do her case, but i feel the the time to purchase a car now is not right. It is already at the end of the year, and based on track record, new car prices will again fall...thus affecting the used car market. Hopefully she will take my advice and i would probably contact her next year!!!

I wonder how are the businesses overseas, are the markets blooming???Here in Malaysia, the market is very very slow. Hopefully the country's economy would be boosted by some major projects....or else i would forsee a crisis. The market for the past 3 years has been terrible, becoming worst as the year goes by. Hopefully with prayers, Malaysia would be successful again and at that time, hopefully there would be a great opportunity for me to make big bucks!!!

Wanna try a Tarot Card test?? No harm done!!

You are The Sun

Happiness, Content, Joy.

The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.

Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.

The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.

I got this test at my cousin's blog.Preety cool!

Ok, gotta go, and now the closing prayer.

A simple and common prayer:

Our father in heaven,
Holy be your name,
Your Kingdom come,
Your Will be done
On Earth as it is in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread
Forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us
Do not bring us to the test but deliver us from evil

AMEN

 The Interview!

Today, i had my interview with Sister Pat regarding the RCIA classes and the commitment in being a Catholic. It was rather an easy interview as i was seriously speaking from the heart.

As i close the door, the first question that she popped was, " Are your parents pressuring you to convert??" .....YES i answered....10 years ago! We then proceeded with questions regarding prayers, the love for god, how the gospels are touching my life, has life become more meaningful as i journey towards this special path??.....and etc.

The whole process was about half and hour, and i felt that now she would understand me better. Probably, she thought that i was not being serious in converting....coz....frequently late for classes (that has been reduced), sometimes absent for classes (that too has reduced....due to greater commitment), less participation in the beginning of the course and not once attended their special activities organised by the church due to inappropriate timing.

After the interview, i went to my office, to tidy my table and personal belongings, to surf the internet and others. I feel contented as i am able to spend some time alone. I did not follow my girlfriend back to her hometown as i was bz yesterday....perhaps next week or so!

Apart from that, there is nothing left to say....except that i am hungry. what should i eat today??let's just see.

 Indonesia!

Hey guys, how have you all been? Sorry for the irregular postings. Hopefully...this would now be a daily event. Ok...first and formost, i did travel to Indonesia on the 6th of October 2006. Was there for 6 days. Had a enjoyable time with my best buddy....Samuel Then.

I reached Jakarta in the morning, waited for Sam as he was late due to flight delay. After lunch, we headed to my customer's office to know about the business opportunity that is open to us...as Sam is interested to venture in the business of multi-level marketing. We are not only interested in becoming some sort of agent....but we are looking for opportunities to be a stockist for some products.Who knows...with god's blessing.....it could be a success!!

After the discussion, we headed to a restaurant nearby to have our dinner. We had Mie Ayam...or in english it's called chicken noodle. This particular chicken noodle was slightly different as it was prepared the Hakka way. It didn't taste very good though....the Hakka Mee in Seremban is very much better. Then, we headed for sam's house in Jakarta. After showering....we headed for the stalls nearby for supper. We had boiled green lala and some squids. As i sat there....i saw a big rat running around the basket where the uncooked lala was kept. What the fish is going on??? Eeerr....am i gonna eat it?? When the food came....i took the risk to have them and what do u know.....it was tasty. We had to dip the meat into the special sauce and it was great! The squids was basicaly cooked like normal.....nothing special though. At night we had a malt drink and then went o bed.

On the 7th of October, we headed to the airport in the morning as our flight was at 12pm. But before that.....we again had Mie Ayam(again the hakka style) for breakfast and this time, it was splendid. It came with wan ton and beef balls.....it was delicious. We reaced Pangkal Pinang in the afternoon and headed for Sam's warehouse. He needed to finish some things at the office and we took off after a while. We reached his hometown, Mentok, at night. This is where the food expedition really starts off. I told him to bring me to have some Mee Goreng. He took me there and had the fantastic mee goreng. Gosh...the taste never changed. It was about a year ago whereby i first tasted it. After that....at the same place....i had chicken noodle again....and after eating it for the third time in 2 days, i discovered that the chicken noodle that i had in the morning at Jakarta was the best!

The next day, 8th of October, woke up and had the marvelous otak-otak for breakfast. We also had the famous pork noodle there. Wow...day and night.....noodle. Then, he sent to me to Mother Mary's church in Mentok. We sat there for the service. When i was praying there, i felt calm and happy. I was there the previous year where i prayed and vowed.....and now i am back again. As Sam is not a Catholic, after my session, he then went to his church was his service. As he was out, i walked around his hometown for more than an hour...as i accidentally locked myself out.As i was making the third round, i saw his maid opening the gate and i simply ran into the house. Was very tired and slept. When sam got home, we had lunch in his house and then headed for the hill where the first president of Indonesia went into exile. Took photos there and learnt some of the history there. Sam's sister was something like a tour guide that day, pointing out some details about the place. After completing the tour, we sent everyone home as they were tired and then headed off to eat "BAKSO" of simply....Beef Noodle. After that we had pempek....unsure of what to call it in english. Food was excellent. For supper, i requested for mee goreng again as it was delicious. Then, went for satay...both chicken and beef and it was to be eaten with black sweet caramel sauce.

The next day, 9th of October, we left mentok in the afternoon....reaching the Mother Mary's cave in the evening. It was like St. Anne's church in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. There were stations to stop by for prayers. There was a big statue of mother mary...and i think it was the main attraction there. Unable to find this kind of thing in Malaysia. After that, we went for fried kuey teow....preety normal. We stayed at Prai Beach Resort.I was impressed, it was nice. Since we reached there after sunset, i was unable to see the seaside. A night only cost about RM160...very cheap as we got the room facing the beach front. We had dinner around that area, Sam brought me to have Chebung fish....a type of fish that i have never eaten b4. The meat is like chicken meat and there is no fish smell. We also had crabs...cooked in chinese wine. Dinner was splendid.

The next day, we had fried rice in the hotel for breakfast. After that, we went to the beach. The sea water is clear.....and the waves were hard. The view was great. Magnificent. I really do recommend you guys to stay at this resort. For lunch, we had Garoupa fish in sweet and sour sauce and stuffed crabs. The stuffed crabs was similiar with those which i have tasted in Terengganu in Malaysia.....only better. There was more meat. Cost??very cheap....in Malaysia...it is priced at RM10 per piece....but in Indonesia....RM4!!! We had two pieces of those each!! Great!
At night, we went to look for Murtabak.....but the stall was not open. So, he had fried rice and myself.....just a plate of fried noodle. Then, we spent the whole night chit chatting.

On the 11th of October, it was a bit of a rush as i needed to buy somethings back home for loved ones. When hunting for Teh Botol, Sweet Black Caramel Sauce, Otak-Otak, Layered cake, keropok, cashew nuts and other. Before departing, we had Roasted Pork.....it was very tasty. I was sad when i left Bangka island....but all holiday must end sometime rite??However....i was happy in a way!! i missed my girlfriend and my family. So it was just something to look for after spending 6 days with a very good fren. The flight back home was okay, reached Jakarta in the evening. Took my flight to KL in the night and reached KL just past midnight. As i was on my way out....i saw my lovely girlfriend with my parents patiently waiting for me. So guys, that is my expedition to Indonesia for the year 2006.

Dear god, thank you for the blessings that you have given me. I praise you my lord for answering my prayers and provided me with the safe trip to indonesia. All the things that i have vowed will be done as i have promised. I do beg you, the all mighty father to keep my family, girlfriend and myself in good health. Mother Mary, pls be the intermediary between Lord Jesus and myself. Please pray for me so that we all have good health. My ears bothers me as i am able to hear soemthing like ringging sound....hence always makes me feel that i am not healthy. I do beg you Jesus, to keep me in good health. Thank you my lord, for the opportunities that you have given me today....and last but not least....I do love you my lord. In your name......AMEN!
